Welcome!
Welcome to the trials and tribulations of planning a wedding. I hope you enjoy the site, and I hope I can be as inspirational for someone else as others have been for me.

So here we are . . .
We met in law school, and have been best friends ever since.
Brad proposed on Oct. 28, 2009 in our bedroom right before we went to bed. He had planned to do it the weekend before on my birthday, but we were so busy at Disney World that he never got a chance. He made steak, and I made mashed potatoes, green beans, and cheesy biscuits. Wonderful dinner! I was so ecstatic about having steak it was uncanny. We hardly ever have it because of the expense, so I thought something might be up. But then as the night went on, he didn't ask. Confused, I started getting ready for bed. As I walked out of the bathroom, he was standing right in the doorway and pulled me into a big hug and kissed me, and with no frills or any fancy-stuff, and completely matter-of-factly and Brad-like, he said "I've been wanting to do this for a couple days now but couldn't find a chance. And I wanted dinner tonight to be special because I want to make it official. Lindsey, will you marry me?" And then he gave me the ring and I put it on and we hugged and kissed and I said "Yes" (didn't forget that part! It's important!) and then I looked at him and laughed and said "I feel so honored that you picked ME to be the one that gets to annoy you for the rest of your life!" He laughed and then we went to sleep. It was completely casual and completely, perfectly, us. :-)
